![]() ![]() The Sinspire plot is dropped until the end, when everything comes together at last. ![]() ![]() This is a dangerous and exciting plot to follow, until about a third of the way through the book when Locke and Jean are forced to pose as pirates. It starts out following Locke and Jean as they try to win their way up the Sinspire, a famous gambling house. Red Seas Under Red Skies could almost be two books. I have to say that I think this book is better than it's predecessor, which is impressive, given how good the first book was. I picked it up at the library after finishing the prequel, The Lies of Locke Lamora, (which I enjoyed quite a lot). Red Seas Under Red Skies is the best book I've read in a long time. ![]()
